Blog posting via email as a service

Since I have written my little script for blogging via email yesterday, I have digged around a bit to find similar pieces of software or services.
A relatively new service is blogmailr.
The downside of this service is that you have to create an account with
them. To stay in the spirit of our dropster
service for one click hosting, I wanted a service that would not
need this so I created my own.
Now, I can use the address
to post to my blog. The cool thing, however, is that you can do, too.
Just add the XMLRPC address of your blogging software in parenthesis as
last thing in your subject line, including username and password of
your blogging account. The subject line for this posting looks like
this:
The blurred part of the URL are the username and password, separated by
a colon (”:”). Obviously, for your own blog, you will have to replace
the host name and probably the XMLRPC endpoint as well.
