You can get your own online attachment store by simply pointing a nameserver A record to 85.10.199.38. This is called domain pointing. Although the dropster service physically still runs on our servers, your peers will recognize it as yours.
But you can go even further. By providing your own CSS stylesheet, you can personalize your new dropster website. Under your new dropster domain, drop an URL that ends in dropster.css that points to a stylesheet of your own design, e.g. http://dropster.yourdomain.com/dropster.css. Now every time somebody visits http://dropster.yourdomain.com, they see your banner and corporate design. The required CSS elements are simple enough. Just take the original dropster.org stylesheet as a starting point.
You can also personalize the top menu by dropping yet another URL, this time ending in dropster.menu. This is a simple text file with menu entries. Each line consists of an URL and, separated by a blank, the menu title. The standard dropster menu file would contain
http://olav.net/themen/dropster blog http://contaire.com/kontakt contact http://contaire.com/impressum about
For an example, check out dropster.olav.net, its all mine.
